These hydraulic lifting jacks are designed for safe and controlled lifting, handling, and positioning of very large and heavy cable drums in demanding low‑, medium‑, and high‑voltage cable installation environments. They are intended for use on construction sites, substations, and cable yards where reliability, stability, and precise load control are essential.
The jacks are manufactured from galvanized steel, providing excellent corrosion protection and long service life even in harsh outdoor conditions. Lifting is performed hydraulically via heavy‑duty lifting jacks, ensuring smooth and controlled elevation of the cable drum. The system is equipped with centralised drum axle claws, which securely grip and support the drum axle, ensuring correct alignment and stable load distribution during lifting and unreeling operations.
The design allows handling of cable drums with diameters from 3,500 to 5,000 mm and supports a maximum load of 60 tonnes, making the system suitable for large HV and EHV power‑cable drums. Despite its high load capacity, the unit maintains a compact and practical footprint, facilitating positioning and integration into cable laying setups. With a total weight of 300 kg, the jacks are robust yet manageable for transport and site deployment.
