Elma DT 901 is a safety phase sequence and rotation direction tester designed for troubleshooting and verification of three-phase electrical systems in industrial, commercial, and maintenance applications. The instrument features a large LCD display, providing clear indication of phase sequence and motor rotation direction, even in bright outdoor environments.
Unlike conventional LED-based testers, the clear LCD display presents both connected phases and rotational direction in an easy-to-read format. The instrument only indicates rotation direction when all three phases are correctly connected. In case of incorrect wiring, such as two phases and neutral, no rotation indication is displayed, helping to prevent misinterpretation and installation errors.
The DT 901 is fitted with an integrated protective rubber holster for increased durability in demanding work environments. Compliant with IEC 61010-1 safety standards and rated CAT III 600 V / CAT IV 300 V, it is suitable for use in distribution boards, industrial installations, and electrical maintenance work. Supplied complete with carrying case, safety test leads, and three alligator clips.
