The R-FASER 15-36 kV Phase Comparator is a medium-voltage testing instrument designed for verifying voltage presence and phase agreement on overhead lines, switchgear, substations, and distribution networks. The system functions both as an approved voltage detector when used with a single probe and as a complete phase comparator when operated with two probes and the radio-frequency receiver unit. Designed according to IEC 61243-1 and IEC 61481-1 standards, the kit enables safe phase matching checks on energized MV systems from 15 kV to 36 kV. The wireless RF communication between the probes and receiver eliminates the need for interconnecting cables, making the system practical for use in substations, transformer stations, and medium-voltage distribution installations.

Each probe provides visual and acoustic voltage indication through flashing red LEDs and an intermittent audible alarm. Voltage absence is clearly indicated by continuously illuminated green LEDs. Built-in self-test functions verify proper operation before use. The probes are housed in durable ABS enclosures with IP43 protection for both indoor and outdoor operation. The complete kit is supplied with two 1.92 m telescopic insulating operating rods. The lower section is manufactured from glass-fiber reinforced epoxy resin and certified according to IEC 61235, while the upper section consists of vinylester fiberglass tubing with closed-cell polyurethane foam filling in accordance with IEC 60855-1. The kit is supplied in a shock-protected transport case and includes interchangeable hook and fork electrodes together with universal M10 adapters.
