This drum lifting yoke with chains is a popular and flexible tool for handling and lifting cable drums during installation work. The yoke is designed to be used with a crane or other lifting equipment and is supplied without drum shaft, making it a versatile solution that can be configured according to specific job requirements. It handles cable drums up to type K28 (Ø 2,800 mm) with a maximum drum weight of 3 tons.
The lifting yoke is equipped with adjustable chains that allow quick adaptation to different drum widths. The chain spacing can easily be adjusted in the sliding carriage, ensuring stable and safe handling even when working with smaller drums. This makes the tool suitable for a wide range of applications in power cable, infrastructure, and utility projects.
Depending on the installation method, the yoke can be complemented with an optional drum shaft (complete with cones and stop ring) or with lifting “forks”. This modular design provides high flexibility on site and allows the same lifting yoke to be used for different drum types and handling scenarios, improving efficiency and reducing the need for multiple lifting tools.
