The new AL‑KO Safety theft protection lock for coupling heads AK161 and AK270 is designed to provide maximum security for trailers and caravans. The lock meets some of the highest international security standards and complies with the strict requirements of Sold Secure Gold (United Kingdom), SBSC certification (Sweden), and SCM certification (Netherlands). This makes it a trusted solution for both private and professional users who require certified theft protection.
AL‑KO Safety can be used both when the trailer or caravan is parked and during driving, ensuring continuous protection without the need to remove the lock. The reinforced, hardened construction combined with a special high‑security lock cylinder provides triple protection against unauthorized coupling, uncoupling, and dismantling of the coupling head. The lock is easy to operate and is supplied with two keys for convenient everyday use.
When combined with the AL‑KO Safety‑Ball, the coupling is optimally protected when the trailer or caravan is not connected to a towing vehicle. The Safety‑Ball blocks the coupling completely, offering enhanced protection against manipulation and theft in stationary situations.
