The Izumi S‑32A is a high-capacity, portable hydraulic cutter designed for demanding cutting tasks in power line construction, utility work, and industrial applications. It is optimized for cutting steel wire ropes, guy wires, reinforcing bars, and stranded aluminium and copper conductors up to Ø32 mm. The robust construction and powerful hydraulic system make it suitable for use in field environments such as substations, transmission line works, and infrastructure projects.
The cutter features a guillotine-type cutting mechanism, which reduces deformation and minimizes the risk of jamming compared to shear-type designs. A 180° rotating head allows flexible positioning in confined or awkward working conditions, improving ergonomics and operator safety. The flip-top latch enables quick and easy insertion of cables or rods, supporting efficient workflows on site.
Equipped with a high output force of 196 kN and a two-stage hydraulic pumping system, the S‑32A delivers strong and controlled cutting performance with reduced manual effort. The large oil reservoir supports continuous operation, while replaceable blades extend service life and reduce maintenance costs.

Note: Not intended for electric power cables or solid aluminium/copper rods outside specified applications.
