The Izumi S‑20A is a lightweight, portable hydraulic cable cutter designed for efficient cutting of copper and aluminium cables in LV and MV installation work. Its compact format and integrated hydraulic system make it suitable for site use where mobility and quick operation are essential, such as in substations, cabinets, and confined spaces.
The cutter features a guillotine-type cutting mechanism, which reduces the risk of cable deformation and jamming compared to traditional shear-type cutters. The 180° rotating head allows flexible positioning, enabling safe and ergonomic work from different angles. A flip-top latch simplifies cable insertion, while the fully integrated hydraulic system requires no external pump or setup, ensuring immediate readiness on site.
With a robust output force of 39 kN and a two-stage pumping system, the S‑20A delivers efficient cutting with reduced operator effort. The tool is built for reliability, with replaceable blades that extend service life and reduce maintenance costs.
