Cable Grip Steel Jointer

This cable pulling grip is designed to splice two cables or ropes together for pulling operations or dismantling and removal of existing cables. It enables safe and efficient transfer of pulling force between two cable ends and is commonly used when pulling out an old cable while simultaneously installing a new one, or when dismantling and removing obsolete cables or pulling lines. The grip is manufactured from galvanised steel wires in a robust, double‑woven construction that provides high grip and tensile strength without damaging the cable sheath.

A permanently pressed Talurit ferrule is positioned at the centre of the grip, forming a strong and reliable mechanical splice between the two cable grip sections. On each side of the ferrule, the grip features open ends that are manually fitted over the respective cable ends. The symmetrical design ensures even load distribution between the connected cables and minimises the risk of slipping during pulling operations. The galvanised steel construction provides reliable corrosion protection, making the grip suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, including ducts, ground installations, and cable trays.

This cable pulling grip is primarily used for cable replacement projects, pull‑through operations, and dismantling or removal of power, telecom, or pulling lines where a secure and high‑strength mechanical connection is required. Each grip is clearly marked with the applicable cable diameter and minimum breaking load to ensure correct selection and safe use.
