This Kevlar cable grip is designed for safe handling, fixing, and light pulling of cables where gentle contact, low weight, and electrical insulation are important factors. Compared to steel cable grips, the Kevlar version has a softer and more flexible profile, making it easier to handle and particularly suitable for sensitive cables.
The cable grip is manufactured from aramid fiber (Kevlar), offering high abrasion resistance and excellent strength‑to‑weight ratio. The material is non‑conductive and unaffected by electromagnetic fields, making the grip suitable for work near live equipment or in environments where electrical insulation is required. The braided construction ensures an even grip around the cable and distributes the load without damaging the cable sheath.
Kevlar cable grips are primarily used for installation of fiber optic cables, control cables, signal cables, and other cables with sensitive outer jackets, as well as in applications where low friction, light weight, and easy handling are prioritized over maximum pulling force.
