Cable Lubricant 9794‑W is a water‑based lubricant developed for efficient installation of power and telecom cables in ducts and conduits. The product is applied using a sponge, ensuring controlled and even distribution along the cable surface during pulling or blowing operations.
When applied, the water content gradually evaporates, leaving a thin, uniform lubricating film on the cable sheath. This film reduces friction between cable and duct, minimizing pulling forces and helping to protect cable insulation against mechanical stress and abrasion. The lubricant is suitable for a wide range of cable types, including LV, MV, and fiber optic cables, and performs well in both short and long installation runs.
The controlled evaporation process ensures a clean installation environment with minimal residue while maintaining sufficient lubrication throughout the installation process.
