The pulling rope is automatically level‑wound across the full width of the drum during operation. This ensures optimal rope storage and is especially important when installing long cable sections, as it eliminates the need for rope joints and reduces wear. The machine is fully synchronized with the feeder unit, preventing the two machines from overrunning each other. This synchronization is a critical safety feature that avoids slack rope and eliminates the risk of tangling inside the duct.
When blowing the pulling rope into the duct, the drum can be hydraulically braked to prevent uncontrolled freewheeling and the associated “runaway reel” effect. For service or rapid handling, the drum can also be disengaged, allowing quick emptying or unwinding of the pulling rope. The result is a robust and operator‑friendly pulling solution suitable for long‑distance duct installations and demanding site conditions.
