The Atlas Copco Cobra Combi is a powerful petrol‑driven rock drill that combines drilling and breaking functions in one compact machine. It is designed for field operations where access to electricity or compressed air is unavailable, making it well suited for rescue services, construction and civil engineering contractors, geotechnical work, railway maintenance, and other demanding environments.
The Cobra Combi features a 22 × 108 mm chuck system, allowing compatibility with a wide range of drills and chisels, including asphalt chisels, pointed chisels, flat chisels, and wedge tools. The air‑cooled two‑stroke petrol engine provides high output with a minimal number of components, resulting in reliable operation and simplified maintenance under harsh site conditions.
An advanced flushing system enables drilling up to six metres in solid granite, improving drilling efficiency and ensuring clean, precise holes in hard materials. To reduce operator strain, the Cobra Combi is equipped with Atlas Copco’s HAPS (Hand Arm Protection System), where vibrations are effectively isolated from the handles using springs, rubber mountings, and other damping solutions. This significantly reduces exposure to hand‑arm vibrations during prolonged use.
