The ABI1 cable jacket remover is a compact and versatile tool developed for fast and precise removal of outer sheaths on smaller diameter cables. With an application range of Ø4.5–29 mm and cutting depth up to 3 mm, it is ideal for PVC and rubber insulated cables commonly used in LV installations and control wiring.
The tool is equipped with a hardened steel blade featuring a special grinding profile to ensure clean and accurate sheath removal without damaging underlying layers. It supports round, longitudinal, and spiral cuts, providing flexibility for different stripping methods and installation situations. Cutting depth is precisely adjustable in 0.1 mm increments via a rotary knob, allowing controlled operation across varying insulation thicknesses.
The axial pulling design prevents tilting during longitudinal cuts, ensuring stable handling and consistent results. A built-in locking system secures the tool during longitudinal cutting, reducing the risk of blade damage due to incorrect use. Its low-friction contact surface enables smooth movement along the cable without resistance, while the ergonomic and lightweight design ensures comfortable use in repetitive tasks and confined spaces.
