Sahlins patented fibreglass rods are excellent aids for running pilot ropes in ducts. Their flexibility and smooth surface allows them to pass easily through narrow passages. The rods consist of three parts: an inner copper conductor, a fibreglass reinforced core, and an outer casing made of HD Polyethylene, which is smooth, strong, and weather resistant. The integrated copper conductor enables the rod to be easily located by various methods. The rod is also a good tool for inspection and cleaning of water & sewage pipes, and ventilation pipes.
