Sahlins Electric Cable Feeder 5052 is a 3-phase driven feeder that pushes the cable in the cableduct. This reduces the tension on the cable as well as reducing the need of pulling force of the cable winch. The base of the 5052 features anchoring points for ground pins to secure positioning and the feeder should be placed before a bend in the cableduct.
The drive is done with conical wheels equipped with urethane rubber for optimal friction and lifetime. The wheels is driven by a powerful 3-phase electric engine and the wheels are easily adjustable to fit cables with a diameter of up to 130 mm. Also, the wheels are air-filled to adapt to the shape of the cable and give the cable an equilateral pressure against the drive rollers.
Series connection
Cable feeder 5052 can be connected in series, which means that several units can be run together from one and the same control unit which is connected to feeder A. The series connection takes place via signal cable which is connected from – A to B, B to C – and so on.
