Sahlins cable blowing and floating equipment is designed to feed cables into the protecting duct in an efficent way. With this machine you can either blow or float. The cable is pushed forward by the hydraulically driven feeder and the cable is carried forward by air or water. The equipment is delivered with a ground stand, but can also be mounted in Sahlin’s well stand (5060-0310). The machine is also delivered with blow nozzles in different sizes (10-17 mm) and a set of jaws for attaching the hose.
The drive belts are each driven by a separate motor and speed can be regulated. Feeder 3015 is driven by electrically or petrol-powered hydraulic unit and is controlled by a control unit. This design allows a safe installation of cable in lengths up to several kilometers (depending on ducting, cable and conveying media (compressed air or water).
Power sources
3015 is connected to an external hydraulic unit and we recommend Sahlin’s 1011 (160 bar) or 1013 (210 bar) together with Sibling hoses (3/8 ”) – 7 m (1010-0010).
