Cable feeder 5050 pushes the cable forward in the cable duct and thus limits the stresses on the cable, while reducing the need for traction in the winch. The frame consists of two stable sheet metal sides with sockets for 4 achoring points in the base plate. The feeder is suitably placed before a stronger turn or level difference. The drive belt is a steel chain with vulcanized rubber plates and is stored with maintenance-free ball bearings. The cable is pressed against the belt by spring-loaded nylon pressure rollers that are easily adjusted to fit cables up to Ø110 mm in diameter. The reels also have a light cone, which means that it can also handle îtriangularî cable. Ball-bearing vertical support rollers are located on the inlet and outlet side of the feeder which are easily adjusted sideways with quick-locking knobs.

To drive the feeder we recommend some of Sahlins driving units: 2042, 4-stroke petrol engine, 2044, hydraulic engine or 2045, electrical engine, all with forward and reverse drive.
